Meet Matthias! One of the Burnie Crew 👋
Matthias has been part of the JDR Homes team for 8 years, playing an important role in getting homes ready for handover. As one of our tradesmen, he spends his days making sure every finishing touch is just right before homeowners receive the keys.
His favourite part of the build? Seeing all the hard work come together just before handover.
Like many of the crew, every morning starts with a coffee, preferably a cappuccino, but a dirty instant coffee will do if time is short. His go to tools are a trusty silicone gun and his well loved hammer.
The funniest moment on site? Watching Jono go head over heels with a wheelbarrow. 😂
Matthias says the best part about working at JDR Homes is that "we're all actually mates that get to work together." Around site you'll hear him called Chops, Scruffy, or, on a good day, Big Dog.
Outside of work, weekends are all about family, while at home the TV is usually taken over by The Wiggles and Play School.
