Wanted – Skilled Qualified Carpenters/Allrounders – Fraser Coast region

Duties of the job:
• All aspects of carpentry on new homes as well as renovations, extensions and decks, including some commercial and residential work with steel frames.
• Provide excellent customer service and relationship building with our clients, other contractors, and suppliers.
• Maintain OH&S procedures on work sites.
• Complete quality control audits on projects.

Skills and personal attributes required:
• ABN
• Trade qualification
• QBCC license
• Construction white card
• Excellent technical building knowledge including Building Codes and Standards, read and interpret plans & specifications, undertake set-out etc.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail and provide a high-quality finish.
• Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
• Self-motivated, reliable, and trustworthy with a strong work ethic
• Team player who can also work unsupervised when necessary.

"When I recently had a problem with my bathroom, I felt Homerite would be a good choice, because, not only is Brad a builder, he is also a building inspector. I am so glad I did. From the beginning to the end of the process Brad made it so easy.

After I researched wall and floor tiles, colours, fittings etc., I communicated my ideas with Brad and he understood straight away what I had in mind, bringing me sample tiles and catalogues to choose from. He also understood I did not want something that didn’t suit the style of house.

His team of builder, plumber, electrician, tiler and labourers all worked efficiently together, were polite and respectful.
