We are seeking reliable and self-motivated personnel to install Foxtel cabling to residential premises. This is a hands on customer premise based role for both entry level and experienced technicians.

Tasks include;
Installation of satellite dish on roof
Installation of conduit and duct (metal and plastic) - drilling into concrete and masonry
Hauling cable
Work on ladders
Running cables, terminating (coaxial) and testing
Skills and attributes required include;
Competent in use of power tools – grinder, drill, etc
Neat and tidy workmanship - measure and cut accurately and efficiently
Able to work at heights and in hot and/or confined spaces – ceilings, stairwells
Fit for work - physically fit and strong
Command of English and good customer service skills- courteous and professional
Work to required safety and quality standards
Tickets in Working at Heights desirable but will be provided on the job
Construction card
Drivers Licence
The work is most suited to those with electrical/ carpentry or other trades backgrounds, as well as those able to adapt and problem solve – eg handyman, good trades assistants. Exposure to TV cabling or telco is useful. Applicants need to be reliable, self-starting, punctual and ready to work.

Remuneration is negotiable depending on experience – but ultimately dependent on output.

Tasks include;
Installation of Optus NBN modem
Churning of existing phone lines in premise
Installation of new data outlets
Running cables, terminating and testing
Skills and attributes required include;
Competent in use of power tools – grinder, drill, etc
Neat and tidy workmanship - measure and cut accurately and efficiently
Able to work at heights and in hot and/or confined spaces – ceilings, stairwells
Fit for work - physically fit and strong

A very busy day today with the retune taking place. For anyone out there with tv's not working, or having signal issues, you need to run a channel search to find the new channels for Hervey bay. Give me a shout if you need help.

EAVA Solutions Just completed a series of commercial installations in the brand new Stockland Hervey Bay extension. They include a media display for Kmart, satellite radio installation for Kmart and audio installation for Collette.
