𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗮 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 ✈️💚

In Townsville, one of our local energy experts, Vanessa, has been creating something very special… crocheting tiny replica RFDS planes for some of regional Queensland’s bravest little patients.

Last week, she dropped off a fresh batch at the RFDS Townsville base. As Vanessa shared, "I recently had the opportunity to drop off some crocheted planes to our friends at the RFDS base in Townsville. These will be given to their littlest patients to help comfort them through difficult times."

It’s something close to her heart and part of a bigger commitment to community.

As she puts it, "For me, partnership doesn’t stop with our Ergon Retail customer donations. It is a celebration of community, and recognition of the vital services RFDS provides, not only in regional Queensland, but all of Australia. It is a privilege to be able to support this important organisation… It is the least I can do."

That’s what being part of regional Queensland is all about. Looking out for each other and showing up in the moments that matter.

Got a rental property? The Queensland Government’s Supercharged Solar for Renters program makes it easy to go solar! Landlords can grab rebates up to $3,500 for installing rooftop solar on eligible rentals. Tenants save around $700 a year, and you boost your property’s value.

✅ Detached homes, townhouses and duplexes rented for $1,000/week or less qualify.
