🏆 From international advertising to the electrical industry - what a journey.

A massive congratulations to our Marketing Coordinator, Luna, on being named a finalist for the Women in Contracting Award by Master Electricians Australia.

Luna didn’t come into our industry through the traditional pathway. With a background in international advertising and communications, she entered the solar and electrical industry with a completely different perspective, and then made it her mission to understand the industry properly.

That meant getting out from behind the desk, spending time on installation sites, learning directly from our electricians, asking plenty of questions and immersing herself in the technical side of what we do.

Over the years, Luna has become an important part of Venergy, helping connect our field teams, customers and brand while making sure the quality of work happening on site is properly understood and recognised.

She has also been a strong supporter of women and people from diverse backgrounds finding their place and building confidence in what has traditionally been a very male-dominated industry.

We love seeing people take a different path into our industry, bring a fresh perspective and make a genuine contribution along the way.

🏆 Couldn’t be happier for Tom.

We’re incredibly proud to see our very own Tom named a finalist for Electrician of the Year (Tradie) at the 2026 Electrical Excellence Awards, presented by Master Electricians Australia. ⚡👏

Anyone who has worked alongside Tom knows how well deserved this recognition is.

He’s one of those people you can always rely on. He works hard, takes enormous pride in his workmanship, looks after his team and is always willing to share his knowledge with the next generation of electricians.

Whether he’s tackling a difficult installation, helping an apprentice through a problem or taking the extra time to make sure a customer understands their system, Tom genuinely cares about doing things properly.

We’re very lucky to have him as part of the Venergy family.

🏆 Project of the Year (Over $1M) Finalist

Our Embedded-Network Community Solar Project has been named a finalist in the 2026 Electrical Industry Excellence Awards, presented by Master Electricians Australia.

A major engineering challenge. And a great recognition for the Venergy team.

With 1,120 homes and 4.4MW of solar under contract, the project is helping bring rooftop solar to communities where traditional embedded-network requirements had previously made it commercially unviable.

By developing a new centralised protection solution, our engineering team reduced the conventional infrastructure cost by approximately 90%.

As of June 2026, 439 homes were already installed and generating, delivering audited average first-year savings of $1,528 per household.

We’re proud to see a project of this scale, complexity and impact recognised among Australia’s best.

🏆 Project of the Year (Under $1M) Finalist

We’re proud to share that Venergy’s Seaford Railway Energy Resilience Project has been named a finalist in the 2026 Electrical Industry Excellence Awards, presented by Master Electricians Australia.

The project involved the design and delivery of a 175kWp Trinasolar solar system with 70kWh of Sungrow battery storage, creating a more resilient and efficient energy solution for critical railway infrastructure.

Expected to generate approximately 239.9MWh of clean energy each year, the system will help reduce operating costs and carbon emissions while strengthening energy resilience across the site.

We’re honoured to see the expertise, coordination and workmanship behind this project recognised alongside some of Australia’s leading electrical projects.

We’re proud to share that Venergy’s National Wine Centre solar project has been named a finalist in the 2026 Electrical Industry Excellence Awards, presented by Master Electricians Australia.

The project involved the delivery of a 100kWp commercial solar system, featuring Trinasolar panels and Sungrow inverters and Clenergy mounting, at one of Australia’s most iconic venues.

A fantastic result for everyone involved, and great recognition of the technical expertise, project management and workmanship behind the installation.

A new way to experience solar and battery technology has arrived on the Sunshine Coast.

Venergy was proud to be invited to the official opening of Sungrow Australia’s first-ever Solar & Battery Experience Hub.

The new space gives homeowners, businesses and industry partners the opportunity to see Sungrow’s technology up close, understand how the complete energy ecosystem works, and experience the products beyond a brochure or screen.

It was a pleasure to join Mayor Rosanna Natoli, Kendall Hatcher MP, the Sungrow team and industry partners to celebrate the milestone.

Congratulations to Sungrow Australia on an impressive new hub and another important investment in Australia’s renewable energy future.

A space for movement. A place for community. Now powered by the sun. ☀️

Wayikuu, meaning “inside space for moving” in the Kaurna language, is the fitting name given to the redeveloped community building overlooking Max Amber Sportsfield.

Venergy was proud to partner with the City of Campbelltown to deliver a 50kW solar system and 72kWh of battery storage for this modern sporting and community hub.

While local clubs create the energy on the field, the rooftop and battery are working behind the scenes, helping reduce operating costs, lower emissions and support the facility well into the future.

Because smarter infrastructure should do more than power a building. It should help power the community around it.

From sporting facilities and schools to healthcare, councils and commercial infrastructure, Venergy delivers renewable energy systems engineered for the long game.
