and have made it part of their DNA to throw a bit of industrial mud at the wall and see what sticks (my words, not theirs).

Taking a product….and asking, how can we make it better?

Take this 740 ADT as an example. They’ve gone and bolted a full steel track undercarriage onto it.

Was it about better flotation?
Handling tougher rock?
Chasing more drawbar pull?

Who knows.

But that’s not really the point.

Anyone who looks at something and says, “what if we did this?” - and then actually has a crack at it, gets my vote.

Because let’s be honest…..

That’s how we went from horse and cart to the gear we run today 👊🏽

👀 The 16GC Motor Grader 👀

So, when the M Series Grader dropped back in 2008, most folks in the developed world assumed that was the death of the lever-style grader, the H and G arrangement 🥹

But that wasn’t really the case. That style of grader has continued to be sold into Lesser Regulated Countries (LRCs) the entire time-just under different nomenclature.

As is the case with most things in life, everything old becomes new again. Now the lever-style grader is back on the menu across the globe!

We’ve just delivered 16GC Operator Familiarisation Training to a customer in Tanzania 🇹🇿.

Man, it was a treat getting back on an OG “big grader” 😮‍💨

There have been a few enhancements to the 16GC, including:
• More intuitive transmission controls
• Improved gear up/down functionality
• Shuttle Shift now available in working gears 1–3 👍🏽

Just back from Tanzania!

One of our trainers, Greg Turner has returned from an incredible stint in Africa where he delivered Operator Familiarisation Training on the CAT 6040 Backhoe and D10 Next Gen Dozer.

Greg’s hands-on training focused on helping operators understand the latest tech and capabilities in these machines—maximising efficiency, safety, and performance on site.

A big thank you to the mine site and our customer for the warm welcome and ongoing support. It’s always a privilege to work with teams committed to upskilling their operators and getting the most out of their fleet.
