A vacancy has become available for an exceptional Project Manager to deliver a quality product & service to our highly valued clients. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and delivering on time, on budget projects. Because of this, the successful candidate will need to be experienced and committed to continuing our success and reputation. It is envisioned that this role will eventually be responsible for overseeing multiple projects on a continuing basis.
The successful candidate will have the capacity to work independently and direct a team of shop fitters and contractors, enjoy challenges and problem solving, be able to relate to a diverse range of people and enjoy a varied and flexible work role.
Key responsibilities in this role include:
Effective relationship management with all stakeholders including prospective and existing clients, suppliers, staff, contractors and others
Obtain and negotiate subcontractor / supplier quotes
Manage all aspects of the project from inception to completion
Complete projects within time & budget constraints
Manage any changes to scope, project variations and defects
Manage all OH&S issues
Provide effective direction & leadership to all direct reports and site staff
Conduct site visits as required and to ensure smooth and efficient project completion
To ensure your success in this role, you will need:
Minimum 5 years experience in the shop fitting industry - Retail Fit Outs Preferred
Retail Project Management experience
Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
Commitment to delivering absolute client satisfaction
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
Detailed understanding of Australian Building Standards
Commitment to OH&S practices and standards
Strong time management & prioritising skills
Outstanding attention to detail
A person with a good sense of humor, works well with little supervision and who enjoys working in a team environment will fit well with our company culture!
A generous salary package of $90-$120,000 is on offer to the right candidate.
