Martin BioPower was featured in the March 2018 edition of the Waste Management Review under the topic of Waste to Energy. Described as a “company helping set the pace for change”, Martin BioPower’s CEO Prof Dr Gerhard Janssen was citied in the article as a major source in relation to the up-and-coming development of WtE plants in Australia and the benefits they present in the current waste hierarchy Australia has established.

Martin BioPower wurde in der März 2018 Ausgabe des Waste Management Review zu dem Thema Waste to Energy vorgestellt. Martin BioPower wird hierin als “eine Firma die dazu beiträgt, das Tempo für Veränderungen vorzugeben” bezeichnet. Waste to Energy is the most reliable form of renewable energy as it delivers a base load into the grid and may solve a part of South Australia's energy issue. Martin biopower plants will provide more than 8000 h/a electricity into the system.

The closure of the Hazelwood coal-fired power station this week acts as a stark reminder of the need to develop a long-term energy strategy to sustain and accelerate investment in renewable energy and energy storage to replace our ageing coal fired generation, the Clean Energy Council said.

Martin Anaerobic Digestion is successful in Germany. Another plant will be built in Tornesch close to Hamburg in the north of Germany.
The contract was signed on the 16th February 2017 for 20.000 t/a plant for green sorted waste.
CEO Gerhard Janssen comments: "This is another example that Martin biopower has an AD-solution for cities and regional areas in Australia with biomass and green waste from 10.000t/a onwards to 100.000t/a and more. The plant will be built and delivered till early 2018."
