Emergency P5 Anti-Slip Floor Restoration

We were called in on short notice to restore a garage floor for a supported accommodation property.

The existing floor had multiple layers of old coating, uneven pooling, low spots, failed patches, and silica that had not been properly locked into the coating. In some areas, the silica was simply sitting on top of a glossy surface and could be removed by hand.

This wasn’t a standard recoat. It required extensive mechanical preparation, removal of loose and failed material, substrate correction, detailed edge work, primer application, full silica broadcast, and a sealed P5 anti-slip finish.

The result is a safer, cleaner, more functional floor built for real use.

A Quality Floor Starts With Proper Preparation

This garage started with worn concrete and residual tile adhesive that required extensive preparation before any coating system could be applied.

We completed mechanical diamond grinding, substrate repairs and levelling work before applying a premium Shale Stone 1.0 flake system, finished with a durable polyurethane topcoat.

The finish gets the attention, but the preparation is what makes it last.
