Introducing the brand spanking new member of the CQFD team… 💛🖤

Fresh, shiny and ready to get to work , our new CAT forklift has officially joined the crew 👏🏼

Jaffa was first on hand to give our newest team member the grand tour and a proper CQFD welcome 😂

Safe to say, it’s fitting in just fine.

57,000! And counting!! 🎉👏

A pretty special milestone for the team at CQ Fibreglass Direct and Blake had the honour of putting the finishing touches on product number 57,000! 💪

57,000 products represents a massive amount of hard work, skill and dedication from our entire team over the years, and we’re pretty proud to see this number roll around.

Well done Blake, and a huge shout-out to everyone at CQFD who has contributed to getting us here.

Onwards to 58,000! 👏

Straight from the CQFD archives… circa 1988 📸😂

Back when the hair was bigger, the shorts were shorter and workplace fashion was questionable at best.

Same crew, same chaos… just a few decades earlier. 😎

CQ Fibreglass Direct, apparently we’ve been getting it done since the 80s. 😂

🛠️ TOOLBOX MORNING AT CQFD

Another Toolbox morning done and dusted! 👏

A big congratulations to Jaffa, our Employee of the Month! 🏆 His consistent effort, contribution to the team and willingness to get in and get the job done certainly doesn’t go unnoticed. We appreciate everything you bring to CQ Fibreglass Direct, very well deserved, Jaffa!

The morning also gave the guys a chance to look back over the month, with each team sharing what worked well, what went right and the wins worth carrying forward into the next one. 💪

And of course, no Toolbox morning is complete without a feed of bacon & eggs, washed down with some juice. 🥓🍳🧃

Not a bad way to start the day!

Big congratulations to Jaffa our employee of the month!

Jaffa is one of those guys who seems to be everywhere. From loading trucks, unpacking containers, sorting freight, restocking gear or helping out wherever needed to keep things moving behind the scenes.

A true all-rounder and well deserved recognition.

BIG NEWS FOR CQ FIBREGLASS DIRECT! 💙

We’re incredibly proud to share that CQ Fibreglass Direct has been announced as one of the first recipients of the Queensland Government’s Transforming Queensland Manufacturing Grants Program.

The funding will help us introduce new advanced automated manufacturing technology into our Yeppoon facility , reducing waste, improving productivity and increasing our capacity as the business continues to grow.

But for us, the biggest opportunity is our people.

This investment will help us create new local jobs, upskill our existing team and continue building a stronger manufacturing business right here in regional Queensland.

Steve and the CQFD team have always believed that being based in Yeppoon shouldn’t limit how far we can go. We’re proud of what our team has built so far, and even more excited about where we’re heading next.

A huge thank you to everyone who has played a part in getting CQFD to this point, and to the Queensland Government and Manufacturing Queensland for backing regional manufacturers like us.

We’re just getting started. 💪

🏆 EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH — SAM 🏆

A very well-deserved Employee of the Month for Sam! 👏

Sam has been putting in the work, showing up with a great attitude and consistently demonstrating the standard we value here at CQ Fibreglass Direct.

It’s always good to recognise the people who quietly get in, do the job properly and contribute to the team , and this month, Sam’s efforts definitely haven’t gone unnoticed.

Congratulations, Sam! Keep it up mate 👏🔥

Meet Blake 👋 One of the newer faces here at CQFD and already getting stuck straight into it!

Blake has quickly become a great addition to the crew, bringing a solid work ethic, a willingness to learn and no hesitation when it comes to getting his hands dirty. 💪

Today he’s helping get another load packed up and ready to hit the road , just another day keeping things moving at CQFD. 🚛

Great to have you on board, Blake. Keep up the good work! 👏
