Dr. M.A. Rahim, the esteemed Head, Department of Agricultural Science, DIU has been honored with the “𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝗹𝗼 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰.” This is not just a personal achievement for him but a moment of immense pride for our university and the entire nation.
Dr. Rahim has revolutionized fruit cultivation in Bangladesh. His innovations in developing high-yield, disease-resistant fruit varieties and promoting malta cultivation have opened new horizons in the agricultural sector. His research has brought transformative changes to the lives of thousands of farmers across the country.
