Trichoderma is a natural soil borne beneficial fungus. It destroys the harmful fungus and bacteria.Trichoderma helps to prevent the soil borne disesase, increases plant growth, spreading of deep roots, improve soil natural properties and also act as biocontrol agent. Trichoderma Laboratory was established in April, 2011 at RDA under the Trichoderma Enhanced Composting Technology Project by a joint

collaboration of RDA, BAU and Innovision Consulting Private Limited. After the establishment, this lab is producing high quality biopesticide and suspension. Biopesticide helps to prevent the soil borne diseases and the suspension is used l for making Tricho- compost. Farmers have found good result to prevent soil borne diseases through using bioppesticide.Beside this; farmers are also producing quality compost by using suspension. This compost is helpful for increasing crop production as well as soil fertility increase, saving of chemical fertilizer cost up to 30% and also got succeed in case of crop health improvement & prevention of soil toxicity.
