🧬 Beyond the Genomes | Genetic Screening for Early Diagnosis & Precision Medicine

The Biotech Association, Department of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, Noakhali Science and Technology University successfully organized the seminar “Beyond the Genomes: Genetic Screening for Early Diagnosis and Precision Medicine” on 11 August 2026.

We are deeply grateful to our esteemed speaker, Dr. Adnan Mannan, Professor, Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, University of Chittagong, for delivering an insightful and engaging session. His valuable perspectives on genetic screening, early diagnosis, and precision medicine made the session truly enriching for everyone.

The program was an opportunity to express our sincere gratitude for his invaluable contributions, guidance, and dedication to the department. For the very first time, the Biotech Association, Department of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (BGE), NSTU, organized a Hands-on Training Program on “SDS-PAGE & Molecular Cloning”, conducted by the iNQUEST Group. Today, we successfully completed the 2nd and Final Phase of this training program, which focused on “Plasmid Extraction, Transformation & Molecular Cloning”.

This training initiative provided participants with valuable practical exposure to fundamental molecular biology techniques and enhanced their laboratory skills through direct hands-on experience.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Md. Murad Hossain sir, Associate Professor, Department of BGE, NSTU, for his thoughtful planning, continuous guidance, and dedicated cooperation throughout the entire program.

We are also sincerely thankful to Dr. Md. Abunasar Miah sir, Chairman and Associate Professor, Department of BGE, NSTU, for his inspiration, leadership, and unwavering support in making this initiative successful. We are equally grateful to all respected teachers of the department for their continuous cooperation and encouragement throughout this academic endeavor.

Hands on Training on "SDS-PAGE"
For the first time, the Biotech Association, Department of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (BGE), NSTU, is organizing a Hands-on Training program on “SDS-PAGE and Molecular Cloning”, conducted by the iNQUEST Group. We have successfully completed Program 1: SDS-PAGE of this training initiative today.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Dr. Md.
