Envoy Textiles Limited, the world’s first LEED® Platinum certified denim mill, exports sustainable high-quality denim from Bangladesh with a focus on energy efficiency, saving water, and circularity. Envoy Textiles Limited (ETL) is a manufacturer of high quality fashion denim in Bangladesh, located at Bhaluka, Mymensingh (60 km North of Dhaka City). Introducing rope dyeing denim for the first time

in the country, ETL has been designed with a combination of superior man, machinery and management. It covers an area of 48 acres of land and total manpower strength is 650. ETL established in 2005, started the commercial production in early 2008, within the short period of time, ETL is now the largest denim fabric producing unit in Bangladesh. Recently, the factory has achieved ISO 9001: 14001 quality certification and its products are OKOTEX certified. We produce a range of products from 6.5oz to 15oz. of denim fabrics. Our denim comes in a variety of shades and cast � basic indigos and sulphur topping or bottoming, in 100% cotton and a variety of blends. ETL targets to be listed in Dhaka Stock Exchange and Chittagong Stock Exchange by issuing IPO by June, 2012. Assigned AA + rating by Credit Rating Agency of Bangladesh. OUR VISION:

Continuing its engagement with industry stakeholders on sustainable manufacturing, Envoy Textiles Limited recently welcomed Ms. Mariella Noto, Academic & Partnership Director; Mr. S. M. Rayhan Hossain, Country Manager, Bangladesh; and Mr. Kéziah Guillopé, Senior Project & Academia Associate from the ZDHC Impact Team for an exchange of insights and perspectives.
Discussions centered on chemical optimization, denim innovation, wastewater management and circular economy modeling, with a shared focus on improving environmental performance and resource efficiency. The engagement reinforces Envoy Textiles Limited’s continued progress toward safer chemistry, greater circularity and more sustainable denim manufacturing.

Envoy Textiles Limited observed World Environment Day 2026 through a month-long campaign under the theme “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future.” As part of the initiative, 10,000 tree saplings were distributed, including 7,000 among students of 11 nearby schools and 3,000 for community plantation.
The campaign reflected Envoy’s belief that sustainability extends beyond responsible manufacturing to creating environmental awareness and shared responsibility within the community.

A new scouring machine, manufactured by the strong technical team of the Engineering Division of Envoy Textiles Limited, was inaugurated at the factory premises on 13 August 2026 by Mr. Kutubuddin Ahmed, Chairman of Envoy Textiles Limited, and Ms. Sumayyah Ahmed, Director of Envoy Textiles Limited, alongside her family.
The addition will further strengthen finishing capabilities of Envoy Textiles Limited by improving fabric cleanliness, softness, absorbency, and process uniformity, helping ensure more consistent and reliable results across a range of specialty finishing applications. The initiative highlights Envoy Textiles Limited’s growing in-house engineering capability and its continued pursuit of greater efficiency, quality, and advanced manufacturing.

A dinner meeting with Mr. Yingming Yang, Vice-President (South, Central, and West Asia) of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), took place on Monday, 10 August 2026, at InterContinental Dhaka, bringing together prominent business and market leaders from Bangladesh. Mr. Kutubuddin Ahmed, Chairman of Envoy Textiles Limited, Envoy Legacy and Sheltech Group, shared his views on Bangladesh’s graduation from Least Developed Country (LDC) status and the challenges it presents for the textile industry, particularly in relation to export competitiveness, investment and future growth.

The discussion formed part of ADB’s engagement with Bangladesh’s private sector in shaping its Country Partnership Strategy (CPS) 2028–2032. It also provided a strategic platform to align ADB’s policy dialogue, advisory support and financing instruments with private sector needs, while mobilizing capital, strengthening the investment climate and advancing Bangladesh’s economic diversification.
