বিআইআইসিসি-২০২৬’ জাতীয় পর্বের ফল প্রকাশ ও পুরস্কার বিতরণী অনুষ্ঠিত

রাজধানীতে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে আন্তর্জাতিক উদ্ভাবনী প্রতিযোগিতা ‘বিআইআইসিসি-২০২৬’ এর জাতীয় পর্বের ফলাফল ঘোষণা ও পুরস্কার বিতরণী অনুষ্ঠান। তরুণ প্রজন্মের মধ্যে বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তিচর্চা সম্প্রসারণ এবং আন্তর্জাতিক অঙ্গনে বাংলাদেশের প্রতিনিধিত্ব আরও শক্তিশালী করার লক্ষ্যে আয়োজনটি করে বাংলাদেশ ইয়াং সাইন্টিস্টস্ অ্যান্ড ইনোভেটরস্ সোসাইটি (বাইসিস)।

সোমবার রাজধানীর বিশ্ব সাহিত্য কেন্দ্র মিলনায়তনে আয়োজিত অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন আন্তর্জাতিক খ্যাতিসম্পন্ন বিজ্ঞানী ও গবেষক ড. মোবারক আহমেদ খান। বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন শিক্ষাবিদ ও লেখক কর্ণেল (অব.) আশরাফ আল দ্বীন এবং নর্থ সাউথ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়–এর সহকারী অধ্যাপক জুবায়ের আহমেদ। এছাড়া প্রযুক্তিবিষয়ক কনটেন্ট নির্মাতা ও নাবাটেক ওয়ার্ল্ড–এর প্রধান নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা নাদিমুল হক জুলাস অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন। অনুষ্ঠানে সভাপতিত্ব করেন বাইসিসের সভাপতি মোসাদ্দেক হোসেন।

আয়োজকরা জানান, আগামী ১৯ থেকে ২৩ জুন মালয়েশিয়া–তে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে ‘বিআইআইসিসি-২০২৬’ এর আন্তর্জাতিক পর্ব। মালয়েশিয়া ইয়াং সাইন্টিস্ট অর্গানাইজেশন (মাইসো)–এর তত্ত্বাবধানে আয়োজিত এ প্রতিযোগিতার সহ-আয়োজক হিসেবে রয়েছে বাইসিস।

জাতীয় পর্বে দেশের বিভিন্ন শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান থেকে অংশগ্রহণকারী শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্য থেকে ১২টি দল আন্তর্জাতিক পর্বের জন্য নির্বাচিত হয়েছে। নির্বাচিত দলগুলো তাদের উদ্ভাবনী প্রকল্প নিয়ে মালয়েশিয়ায় অনুষ্ঠেয় গ্লোবাল রাউন্ডে বাংলাদেশের প্রতিনিধিত্ব করবে।

এবারের প্রতিযোগিতায় Delta Cognition সিলেটের প্রতিনিধি দল হিসেবে আন্তর্জাতিক পর্বে অংশগ্রহণের সুযোগ অর্জন করেছে। দলটি তাদের উদ্ভাবনী রোবোটিক্স ও প্রযুক্তিভিত্তিক প্রজেক্টের জন্য জাতীয় পর্বে গোল্ড মেডেল ও স্পেশাল অ্যাওয়ার্ড লাভ করে।

অনুষ্ঠানে বিজয়ী দলগুলোর হাতে মেডেল, সনদ ও ইয়েস কার্ড তুলে দেওয়া হয়। একই সঙ্গে বিজ্ঞান গবেষণা ও উদ্ভাবনে বিশেষ অবদানের স্বীকৃতি হিসেবে ড. মোবারক আহমেদ খানকে সম্মাননা প্রদান করা হয়।

প্রধান অতিথির বক্তব্যে ড. মোবারক আহমেদ খান বলেন, “গবেষণা ও উদ্ভাবনই একটি জাতিকে এগিয়ে নেয়। আজকের তরুণরাই আগামী দিনের বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তির নেতৃত্ব দেবে। বাইসিসের এ উদ্যোগ আন্তর্জাতিক পরিসরে বাংলাদেশের মেধা ও উদ্ভাবনী সক্ষমতাকে নতুনভাবে তুলে ধরবে।”

অনুষ্ঠানে অংশ নেওয়া শিক্ষার্থী ও অতিথিরা আশা প্রকাশ করেন, তরুণদের উদ্ভাবনী শক্তিকে বৈশ্বিক পর্যায়ে তুলে ধরতে ভবিষ্যতেও বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তিভিত্তিক এ ধরনের আয়োজন অব্যাহত থাকবে।

উল্লেখ্য, অনুষ্ঠানের সহযোগী হিসেবে ছিল কিডজানা এবং একটি বিজ্ঞানবিষয়ক সাময়িকী।
