Day 3: I Built a Switch Node. This Is Where the Automation Starts Making Decisions

Day 3 of my Week 2 AI automation update.
Today I added a Switch node to my n8n workflow.
In simple terms: the Switch reads what someone submitted, compares it to conditions I set, and sends the workflow down the right path based on the result. Different answer â different path. Different path different action.
Before this, the workflow was collecting information. Now it evaluates it and decides what happens next.
As a VA who has done this decision-making manually for years reading submissions, choosing the right response, sending one at a time, watching an automation handle that logic was a moment worth documenting.
