🎮 Adventure of Sui 🎮

Adventure of Sui is a handcrafted 2D indie adventure game featuring multiple levels across diverse worlds, each designed with unique environments, challenges, and enemy behaviors.

Players step into the role of Sui, a brave adventurer exploring dangerous lands filled with wild animals, hidden traps, and survival-based challenges. The goal is simple yet meaningful: collect fruits to stay alive, overcome hostile creatures, and reach the destination to unlock the next mission. Every move matters, and every decision can determine survival.

What makes the game special is its Bangladesh-inspired worlds. Some levels are influenced by local culture, landscapes, and everyday life—reimagined in an adventurous and immersive way. As players progress, difficulty increases through smarter enemies, new obstacles, and evolving gameplay strategies.

The game is developed entirely from scratch using Flutter and the Flame game engine, without relying on Unity or Unreal Engine—highlighting a true indie, custom-built development approach.

This project reflects passion for game design, storytelling, and technical innovation, proving that powerful games can be built beyond traditional engines.

Behind the Scenes of 2D Game Development
What a Game Looks Like Before It Becomes a Game

When a 2D platformer is in its early development stage, the screen often looks nothing like the final polished world players see. Instead, it’s filled with floating numbers, colored boxes, coordinate labels, and visual markers everywhere. This chaotic scene is actually the invisible backbone of game creation: the debug mode.

In this phase, every element of the world exposes its “true form”:
● Physics boundaries become colored rectangles
● Platforms reveal their exact hitboxes
● Obstacles show danger zones
● Collectibles display their positions
● Moving objects broadcast their x/y coordinates
● Triggers and interactions become visible outlines

This is where developers shape the game’s logic.
Platforms aren’t just placed - they’re tested.
Collisions aren’t assumed - they’re verified.
Movement isn’t animated - it’s measured frame by frame.

Debug mode helps catch tiny issues that players would never see but would definitely feel:
• An enemy hitbox that’s slightly off
• A jump that doesn’t land exactly on the platform
• A collectible floating a few pixels too high
• A trap that activates a moment too late

Before the world feels alive and magical, it first has to work mechanically. Every jump, collision, bounce, slide or enemy interaction starts here - inside a forest of numbers and boxes.

What looks like chaos is actually precision at work:
A game teaching itself how to function before learning how to look beautiful.

This is my process of developing a 2D game. Game developed from scratch without unreal or unity engine. A game that works everywhere from browser to smartwatch, from iPhone to android and more.

গবেষণার কাজ করতে গিয়েই বুঝেছিলাম, একটা জায়গায় এসে প্রায় সবাই একই সমস্যায় পড়ে। আমরা Word-এ ঘণ্টার পর ঘণ্টা ধরে রিপোর্ট বা পেপার লিখে ফেলি, কিন্তু যখন কোথাও জমা দিতে হয়, তখন দেখা যায় সবকিছুই LaTeX ফরম্যাটে লাগবে। তখন শুরু হয় আবার নতুন করে লেখা, ট্যাগ বসানো, কোড ঠিক করা, আর শেষে ক্লান্ত হয়ে যাওয়া।

আমারও ঠিক এমনটাই হয়েছিল, যদিও এখনো কোনো গবেষণাপত্র প্রকাশ করিনি। কিন্তু পেপার লেখার চেষ্টা থেকেই এই পুরো ধারণাটা মাথায় আসে। ভাবলাম, যদি এমন একটা টুল বানানো যায় যা Word বা PDF ফাইলকে এক ক্লিকে LaTeX ফরম্যাটে রূপান্তর করতে পারে, তাহলে তো গবেষণার কাজ অনেক সহজ হয়ে যাবে।

সেই ভাবনা থেকেই শুরু হয় LaTeX Converter তৈরির যাত্রা। অনেক রাত জেগে কোড লেখা, ইন্টারফেস ডিজাইন করা, বাগ ঠিক করা—এই দীর্ঘ পথ পেরিয়ে অবশেষে সফটওয়্যারটি এখন পুরোপুরি প্রস্তুত। বর্তমানে চলছে টেস্টিং পর্যায়, সবকিছু ঠিকভাবে কাজ করছে কি না তা যাচাই করছি।

LaTeX Converter এমনভাবে তৈরি করা হয়েছে, যেন একজন ব্যবহারকারী শুধু ফাইল আপলোড করলেই Word বা PDF ফাইল থেকে সম্পূর্ণ LaTeX কোড পেয়ে যায়। শুধু তাই নয়, এখানেই ফাইলটি এডিট করা, কম্পাইল করে প্রিভিউ দেখা, PDF হিসেবে সেভ করা—সবই করা যাবে। আর এর সঙ্গে রয়েছে AI সহকারী, যা equation, table, bullet list বা graph (TikZ) তৈরি করতেও সাহায্য করবে।

এই সফটওয়্যারটির মূল উদ্দেশ্য হলো গবেষকদের কাজ সহজ করা, সময় বাঁচানো এবং পুরো প্রক্রিয়াকে আরও স্মার্ট করা।
