কনস্ট্রাকশন কাজের সময় আমরা অনেকেই মনে করি, মাটির নিচে তো ঢালাই হচ্ছে, একটু এদিক-ওদিক হলে সমস্যা নেই। কিন্তু বাস্তবে এই ধারণাটাই সবচেয়ে বড় ভুল!

ভিডিওতে খেয়াল করুন— কোনো রকম প্রপার শাটারিং বা পলিথিন ছাড়াই সরাসরি কাঁচা মাটিতে কংক্রিট ঢালা হচ্ছে। এর ফলে:

কংক্রিটের গুণগত মান নষ্ট হয়: মাটির সংস্পর্শে এসে কংক্রিটের ভেতরের পানি মাটি চুষে নেয় (Water Absorption), যার ফলে কংক্রিটের শক্তি মারাত্মকভাবে কমে যায়।

মাটি ও কংক্রিট মিশে যাওয়া: ঢালাইয়ের সময় আশেপাশের আলগা মাটি কংক্রিটের সাথে মিশে গিয়ে কলাম বা ফুটিংয়ের ভেতরের অংশকে দুর্বল করে ফেলে।

রডের ক্ষয়: মাটির আর্দ্রতা সরাসরি রডের সংস্পর্শে এসে দ্রুত জং (Corrosion) ধরাতে পারে।

আমাদের পরামর্শ: ছোট-বড় যেকোনো কন্ট্যাক্টরের কাজই হোক না কেন, ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং গাইডলাইন মেনে প্রপার শাটারিং বা মিনিমাম পলিথিন ব্যবহার নিশ্চিত করুন। শক্ত ভিত্তিই হোক নিরাপদ আবাসের প্রথম শর্ত।
