As 2025 fades into the horizon, Project Altair stands like a traveler who crossed mountains and storms, carrying victories in one hand and lessons in the other. From stepping onto the URC for the very first time and securing a place in finals, to evolving Musafir 2.0 into 3.0, every challenge shaped our journey and every achievement lit our path. Some dreams waited, unfinished, but even stars take time to align.

Now, with hearts shaped by reflection and eyes filled with hope, we have entered a new dawn. May 2026 be a canvas of courage, innovation, and shared joy, for every individual and for Project Altair as one united constellation. Wishing everyone a bright, prosperous and very Happy New Year from Project Altair!

Words will forever fall short of what we lived through, and may we never face such pain again. May Allah grant our beloved brothers the highest ranks in Jannah and eternal peace.

Exactly one year ago, we witnessed a loss so devastating that words still struggle to carry its weight. Three bright, kind, and extraordinary souls were taken from us in a moment that scarred our community forever. Their absence remains a quiet ache, one that time softens, but never truly erases.

With profound grief, the IUT Robotics Society remembers and honors the lives of our beloved brothers: Md. Jubair Alam Sakib, Md. Mubtasim Rahman Mahin, and Mir Mozammle Hossain Nayem of the Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering (MPE). Their passing, the result of a tragic incident, left an emptiness felt deeply by any and all who knew them.

We hold their families in our prayers and our hearts. May Allah SWT envelop them in mercy and grant them the highest ranks in Jannah. May their light continue to guide us, and may their memories remain a source of unity, strength and quiet inspiration for all.

With curious little hands just beginning their school journey and eyes lighting up at every spark of wonder, the world of science and technology can seem vast yet endlessly fascinating. And this time, their curiosity met something really special!

On 23rd and 27th October, Project Altair proudly showcased their rover at STEM Quest 2025, organised by Tanzimul Ummah International Tahfiz School in collaboration with Institute of Integrated Excellence Discovery - IIED. The event was hosted at the respective campuses, where the young explorers watched in awe, eyes wide and hands eager to uncover the mystery before them. As they began to understand its workings, curiosity bloomed and questions poured in, filling the room with pure excitement for discovery.

We believe we managed to give them more than just answers, we gave them a little spark. A spark that will drive them to dream, discover and explore the wonders of science and space with their unwavering intensity!

In scorching days and through the chilliest of nights, we weren’t the only ones toiling away just to get one wheel rolling. Our brothers stood right beside us, turning perseverance into power and making a marvel tear through the asphalt.

We wholeheartedly congratulate and cheer for Formula IUT as they prepare to roar in the Formula Student China 2025 competition.

All the best and make us proud as you carry our brilliance beyond borders!

Last year, on a hazy August morning, we rose with one purpose and an unshakable will. The march, once planned for another day, could wait no longer—and neither could we.

The air was heavy with hope and fear when the Long March to Dhaka was declared. Many of us wondered if that day would be our last. We knew the risks. We knew we might lose friends, brothers, even our own lives. But still, we went because deep down, we knew it was now or never. From every corner of Bangladesh, our whispers turned to war cries: we will wait no more, we will bow no longer. Death loomed, but it did not deter us. Before we could fall, we turned the tide, and the oppressors fled at the rumble of our roars from Teknaf to Tetulia. What was meant to be a day of loss became the day we finally won.

Yes, many of us did not live to see the next sunrise. The mother whose child was taken by a bullet, the brother dragged across bloodied streets, and the young warriors whose bravery outshone even the most seasoned—all found solace in our victory. But they left us something priceless: their courage, their sacrifice, and a future we can now call our own. They gave their final breath so we might breathe in peace, so our steps may no longer tremble.

On this 5th of August, Project Altair honors the day every corner of Bangladesh rose with one voice and one purpose. Let the names of those who gave their lives be etched deep in our memory. We carry their memory in our hearts, not just today, but always.

Let us never forget.
Let us never forgive.
