জীববৈজ্ঞানিক গবেষণায় ডেটা বিশ্লেষণের জন্য ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) একটি অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পরিসংখ্যান পদ্ধতি। গবেষণায় বিভিন্ন ট্রিটমেন্ট, প্রজাতি, ঔষধের প্রভাব বা পরীক্ষামূলক অবস্থার মধ্যে গড়ের পার্থক্য নির্ণয়ে এটি ব্যাপকভাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়। R প্রোগ্রামিং ভাষায় ANOVA করা সহজ, দ্রুত এবং নির্ভুল হওয়ায় আধুনিক গবেষকদের জন্য এটি শেখা অত্যন্ত প্রয়োজনীয়। R-এর মাধ্যমে গবেষকরা সহজেই বৃহৎ ডেটাসেট বিশ্লেষণ, গ্রাফ তৈরি এবং ফলাফল ব্যাখ্যা করতে পারেন। এছাড়াও R একটি ওপেন-সোর্স সফটওয়্যার হওয়ায় এটি বিনামূল্যে ব্যবহার করা যায় এবং এর জন্য অসংখ্য প্যাকেজ ও অনলাইন রিসোর্স উপলব্ধ রয়েছে। বিশেষ করে বায়োলজি, জেনেটিক্স, কৃষি, মাইক্রোবায়োলজি ও পরিবেশবিজ্ঞান গবেষণায় R ব্যবহার করে ANOVA বিশ্লেষণ গবেষণার মান ও নির্ভরযোগ্যতা বৃদ্ধি করে। বর্তমান গবেষণা ও উচ্চশিক্ষার ক্ষেত্রে দক্ষতা অর্জনের জন্য একজন জীববিজ্ঞান গবেষকের R-এ ANOVA শেখা অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ও সময়োপযোগী।
