Meet Nicolas Deruytter, our third speaker tomorrow at Technopolitics 5: Can Artifcial Intelligence save the climate?

Nicolas Deruytter is the founder and CEO of the company ML6. He describes his company as a team of machine learning experts to empower businesses with artificial intelligence. With reinforcement learning ML6 made an autonomous self learning platform that is able to manage complex production processes in a safe and efficient way.

Nicolas Deruytter founded ML6 in 2013, immediately after graduating as a Civil Engineer with a master in Operations Research and Electro mechanics. Today ML6 has 50 employees with multiple offices in Europe.

In 2016 Google elected ML6 as best AI company. Nicolas Deruytter is one of the experts in the think-tank AI4Belgium that was founded by Alexander De Croo, minister for Digital Agenda.

Elias Fernández, a doctoral researcher fellow, affiliated to the VUB Artificial Intelligence Lab, is our second speaker next week. He did his Telecommunications Engineering studies in the University of Vigo (Spain). Now he is combining machine learning algorithms with a game-theoretical framework to investigate how scenarios of collective-risk and uncertainty like the anthropogenic influence in the climate change affect human behaviour. His research interests involve evolutionary game theory, experimental economics and artificial intelligence. Quite enough reason to book him as a speaker at Technopolitics 5: Can Artifcial Intelligence save the climate?

Collibra specialises in data governance and is leading cutting edge research into the use of A.I. in data management. Their main focus is to produce trustworthy data for their people.
