The Belgian artist Man Outta Space has been playing music since 2005. His sets can be described as energetic Techno with spacey elements, which bring constant tension to the dance floor. As a former resident of one of Belgium’s longest-running clubs, Decadance, he developed his mixing skills through long marathon sets.

This heavy track digger is always on the hunt to find that hidden gem in the record bin. This is also noticed in the carefully selected lineups of his event, “Wir Tanzen.” There he invited highly respected acts like Dax J, Stef Mendesidis, Paula Temple, Lucy, Fjaak, Pariah, Florian Meindl, Lucy, Exium, Keith Carnal, … Wir Tanzen has been hosted in various Belgian venues like Kompass, Fuse, Decadance, Vaag, and at the German Nature One festival.

Man Outta Space is constantly developing his sound, combining old with new, so you never know what’s coming next.

Phil Berg is a DJ and producer who takes listeners on a progressive minimalistic techno trip, utilising groovy, modern tracks with funky old school cuts in order to build a dramatic curve of tension throughout the night.

A lover of extended sets which allow him to meticulously craft the perfect atmosphere, Phil has dropped mixes for institutions like Vault Sessions, Rote Sonne in Munich and Orphic.

With productions on Hayes, Secession, Schimmer Records, BCCO, SYXT and Frenzy, he already boasts a considerable discography. Now a resident for the Berlin collective BCCO and for Schimmer Records in Stuttgart, people around the globe will soon be hearing more from this talented young man.

Phil Berg has been Distinkt artist since 2021. He has played at venues including BRET and Radion in Amsterdam, Tresor, RSO and Else in his home town of Berlin and has recently completed his first tour of the USA.

Originally from Bruges, Gaël Ribas’ Gaāl alias finds its way in the experimental and sophisticated spectrums. Gaël has always been passionate about sound. At an early age, he started to explore his boundaries in music. It became a varied and eclectic taste that shifted during the years. With talent for musical storytelling, this ultimately resulted in a hypnotic and sophisticated style which defines his characteristic sets and productions as we know them today. He released several tracks on KusiyaRecords, Subsist Records and efja.

Gaël is also known as the mastermind behind the Kollektiv event series. The DNA of Kollektiv closely aligns with his hypnotic and deep aesthetic as a techno artist.

Kompass will not be open this weekend. New Wir Tanzen date soon 🙏.

We’re completely devastated by the decision made by the city this morning. All the permits we need to open our club are there and approved. Horeca/drinks permission, approval of safety by the fire deparment, etc…

After weeks of talking and obeying all the city’s wants and needs, the mobility service of the city council discovers a so called problem at our bike parking, the day before our opening! This is a serious blow for us to process.

We worked so hard for this yet the city decides to hijack our dream last minute in a city which seemingly rather destroys nightlife than to embrace it.

The remarks can be solved by next week so we’ll be back, stronger than ever before ❤️‍🩹 all ticket buyers for this weekend will be contacted to request a voucher or refund.

21.10 AnD & Rebekah at Kompass - Sportschool by Wir Tanzen

This weekend, we have the honor to host Wir Tanzen at one of Belgium's finest venues, Kompass. It is the opening weekend of their new location and we are thrilled to be a part of it. On the bill, we have Phil Berg, resident with our favorite Dutch crew, Vault Sessions. Phil has been making waves lately, and his latest release on Setaoc Mass's label SK11 is a perfect showcase of his rising talent. In addition to Phil, our resident Man Outta Space, will kick off the start of a beautiful new season at Kompass.
