Last week, we had three incredible days at the Maritime Industry fair in Gorinchem — and what a ride it was! 🙌

🌊 𝑳𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝑻𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒅𝒂𝒚, 𝒘𝒆 𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒏 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒐𝒓 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒂𝒕 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒐𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆 — and it was one to remember.

We were proud to welcome 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒐𝒍𝒂𝒓 𝑩𝒐𝒂𝒕 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒎 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑨𝒏𝒕𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒑 for a truly unique afternoon. The team brought their solar-powered boat to test on the water right in front of our building — a sight that set the perfect tone for the day. ☀️⛵

MS Earthquake needed a new solution to access its wheelhouse — and we delivered! 🚢

We designed and installed a brand-new 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐜 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐫, custom-built to fit the vessel's specific needs. Telescopic means it can be extended and retracted as needed — 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥, 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞-𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭. 💡

Whether it's a standard ladder or a fully custom solution, 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤. 💪

🎉 A well-deserved farewell!

After 39 years of dedication, expertise and countless projects, our colleague Michel has officially retired — and we couldn't be prouder to have had him as part of the Blommaert Aluminium family for so long.

Michel, thank you for everything you have brought to our team over the years. Your knowledge, your commitment and your good humour will be greatly missed around here.

We wish you all the best in this new chapter — may your retirement be as solid and well-built as the work you delivered! 🏗️

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the team of Ultra-Brag AG here at Blommaert Aluminium, to kick off the production of their 𝟰 𝗺𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳𝘀. 💪

Team Ultra-Brag 👥:

Team Blommaert 👥:

• Tom Blommaert – CEO
• Werner Fraussen – Manager Land Applications
• Senne De Wit – Manager Technical Department

During their visit, they gained a detailed insight into the production process in our factory, the planning and the technical development of their project. It was an important moment to discuss the expectations and to confirm the next steps. 🗜️

This project will be monitored closely, and everything will be documented. During the following weeks, we will also share updates about:

- the next production steps ⚙️;
- the loading of the hatch covers into the vessel 🚢;
- the installation 🔌;
- and the delivery in 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗹 for their heavyweight sites at
Auhafen. ✅
