Maiak-M JSC is a leading importer of a wide range of steel products in Bulgaria, with application in all related spheres such as ship-building and ship-repair, machine building, metal working, power-plant repair works, chemical engineering, and mining industries. The main commodities we are trading with are Steel Plates and Sheets, Hot and Cold Rolled Seamless Pipes, Welded Pipes, Round Bars and E
uro Profiles. In 2002 it was re-gistered as Maiak-M Ltd as a wholesale dealer in steel products. The company owns a duty-free warehouse area of more than 20 000 sq. One in the city of Rousse which is the main Bulgarian river port on the Danube. We have also warehouses in Bulgaria’s Capital Sofia, and in the main Bulgarian sea ports on the Black Sea – Varna and Bourgas. Our product range has been expanding through the years and nowadays we are having in stock on a regular basis the following products:
• Seamless Pipes – including boiler pipes, stainless and alloyed construction pipes with diameter from 8 mm to 377 mm;
• Steel Plates and Sheets – with thickness from 2 to 160 мм, for general purposes, ship-building and other different facilities with significant purposes. We can supply Hot Rolled and Cold Rolled Coils with thickness from 0,5 mm to 6,0 mm;
• Bulb Flats – A32, A36, AH36 and others with sizes from 80 x 5 mm up to 212 x 12 mm.
• Hot Dipped Galvanised Steel in Coils – with thickness from 0.4 mm to 1.0 mm;
• Round Bars made of construction steels with general usage, quality construction and alloy steel for special purposes with diameter from 12 mm to 500 mm;
• Hollow Sections – round, square and rectangular;
• Euro Profiles – UPN, IPE, IPN, HEA HEB;
Our major customers are among the leading power-plant repair companies in Bulgaria, shipyards, steel dealers and stockists. Our main subcontractors are from Europe, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, China, etc. Our subcontractors are certified producers under ASTM, EN and DIN, and the commodities we offer are certified for use and import into the European Union. October’2008 Maiak-M successfully recertified it’s Quality Management System in the sphere of “Delivery, storage and trading with metal products” according to BDS EN ISO 9001:2001 in conformity with procedures of TUV Bulgaria. In our service centers we have at our full disposal equipment that is successfully performing primary metal treatment. Such are cutting of all types of details with different configurations, and also the making of not very complicated welded constructions used in the ship-building and ship-repairing industries as well.
