Forgotten heritage - bringing together what belongs together

Forgotten heritage - bringing together what belongs together This is a beginning of a quest with an intention to compile and centralize information about carvings of the Hartford Cave, Rum Cay, Bahamas.

Visual display of the petroglyphs may help to examine further interpretations, such as linkages with other regions and to understand the culture of the people who left this heritage behind. The cave did not undergo extensive archaeological research, although it is known to have numerous petroglyphs (some of these features are unique and are displayed as 3D images). Also, information about them is

scattered, currently under debate and study methods have not yet been standardized. Nevertheless, A lot of valuable scattered information is available, which when brought together may provide a more complete insight into the history of the early people of The Bahamas. With your support this may be achieved and may prevent to loose this historical record, which is vanishing through the decay of stone on a daily basis.
