As the year decays, like isotopes in time,
People gear up for resolutions, so prime.
In the lab of life, reactions are brewing,
High-frequency vibrations, ambitions pursuing.

With every tick of the clock, a molecule’s shift,
Bonding new goals, as spirits lift.
Resolutions bubbling, in a beaker of cheer,
Ready to tackle another bright year.

Electrons excite in festive delight,
Partying with photons, through New Year’s night.
Everyone’s a catalyst, setting off sparks,
Formulating plans, igniting their marks.

Gym memberships? They ionize quick,
Fueling dreams of a healthier physique.
Diet plans oscillate, a seesaw game,
Till the lure of snacks neutralizes the aim.

Savings plans drafted, electrons in motion,
Only to find loopholes in this commotion.
Travel plans with activation energy high,
But financial barriers refuse to comply.

Yet, in this entropic mix, laughter prevails,
For resolutions, like compounds, have their tales.
With every frequency, a new vibration,
We embrace the year’s end with jubilation.

So here’s to the chemistry of another year,
Full of reactions, laughs, and zero fear.
May your goals be stable, your efforts strong,
In this periodic table of life, where we all belong!

I use to teach real chemistry before. The journey started 2021 under this other reputable academy. First experience was not bad, i went there to just show that i am smart too. Which was the worst thing to do and i will you why
I was happy to get that feed back after a year of teaching that student currently in Buan doing greater Chemistry

Anyways never a post i should start without the slogan.

I learnt when you teach subjects like chemistry or any science and math. Do not make it your first goal to look or sound smart. It is good to do that but minimize it as time goes. Perhaps start with that to establish your ground but as time goes, reduce your standard to accomodate what your students might be thinking, relate with their tiny minds, yours is developed with experience of real chemistry so they might not understand, try to be as relatable as possible

This is why after 2 years of experience i developed my own teaching strategy. Which i am still reflecting on outside teaching. Students are curious people. I had to teach real chemistry to make them understand. Subjects like Organic Chemistry are very applicable to explain to a student to understand it in real life. Sometimes i would just make the syllabus objective relatable gore if i am saying Carbon has to have 4 bonds ke raya jang. Seriously. I think chemistry can be made to be a story that can be followed

Some topics are very close and relatable, dont follow it the way it is return in the syllabus it will confuse kids. You cannot teach Electrolysis before Redox, you cannot teach moles concept before you teach Chemical formulas, bonding, chemical equations etc. its a love story. It has to be organised 😂😂😂

Our Chemistry has not really changed much in the new syllabus but in future if we want to build a real understanding in chemistry lets put in lots of applicable concepts that are very much relatable

I wont say much about how the Electron theory and some concepts are not really articulated well in their syllabus, toga kere ke batla go bolaya bana,mme hela. Nthaloganye, gagona mosola gore ngwana a simolole go itse the real chemistry when he/she is very deep in University than when they learnt it earlier

This days, when they talk about Innovation they actually mean Digital Innovation, it is rarely other forms of innovation though it is less impactful than the other in terms of Economic building, it is just a big bang theory of the west not us. Praise are given to a software that inspects the running of Biofuel industry, the actual production of Biofuel.

100/100 right Mlungu. To any one outside chemistry knowledge, i would just say Quantum chemistry/physical chemistry. But to anyone in chemistry discipline are bue se chemistry neh, you remember that staff of heeee, What what Duality law. That proton exist as a either a wave or a particle. That something exists in a certain location because all its energy is concentrated in one place where it is. Calculations of a coefficient called a "Normal" (N) or basically Einstein Relativity law. Ake gane we have bo organic mo makovnikov bo inorganic bo orgel diagram le bo symmetry marrr yerrrr Physical chemistry 😭 lets not even talk about Polymer chemistry neh.
