This time, all it needed was a propeller shaft centre bearing replacement and a brake shoe adjustment. The handbrake wasn't holding properly, and a proper adjustment brought it back to normal.

Not every problem needs expensive repairs. Sometimes the right adjustment is all it takes.

It's just part of life.

The difference is knowing what's worth giving a second chance.
Some things are beyond repair. Others just need someone willing to take the time to understand what went wrong before giving up.

This engine came in with a blown head gasket. Fortunately, we caught it before water and oil mixed, giving it a chance to keep going without unnecessary damage.

A new gasket. Careful workmanship. Another chance to get back on the road.
We'd say it has learned its lesson... but let's be honest, that's up to the driver. 😅

Maybe engines aren't so different from people after all. Sometimes they don't need replacing. They just need the right care 😉
And sometimes acting early is what makes all the difference.

It came in overheating.
Most people would stop at the cooling system.
But the real culprit was hiding deeper: stuck piston rings.
That led to oil starvation, and oil starvation led to something every mechanic hates hearing...
Bearing knock.
By then, the engine wasn't just overheating—it was begging for lubrication.

On a normal road, the drive felt smooth.
But the moment it hit rough terrain, that ghughu rattling sound started from the suspension.

The shocks were still doing their job, but comfort was gone and something underneath wasn’t sitting right.
The culprit? An improperly assembled shock unit.
Too much play led to wear on the strut mount and strut shaft threads.

Sometimes it’s not the shock itself, but how everything was fitted together.

Three different knocks. Zero chill. 😭🔧

Turning — knock.
Speeding up — knock.
Hit one pothole — KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!

At this point the car wasn't broken, it was communicating. 👀

Outer CV joints done. Inner CV joints done. Basically the whole handshake between your engine and your wheels — gone 😭.

Swapped them out on the spot, in the driveway, no towing involved. Drove away quiet as a new car. ✅

Moral of the story? Knocking sounds don't fix themselves. They just get more expensive. 💸
