👉The Volume of a wheelbarrow is 0.08 cubic metres✅.
👉Density of sand per cubic metre in its natural state is 1.65 tonnes✅.
👉To know the tonnage in a wheelbarrow
=volume multiplied by density, that is;
0.08m3×1.65ton
=0.132 ton
Therefore the number of wheelbarrows in a tonne
1/0.132
=7.5
👉That is almost 8 wheelbarrows
👉So if a tonne of sand gives you 8 wheelbarrows then a 7 tonne load will give you 56 wheelbarrows of sand✅
👉1 bag of cement needs 4 wheelbarrows of sand for quality bricks.
👉Therefore you gonna need 14 bags of cement
👉14 bags of cement cost P980 in total if a single bag goes for around P70
👉14 bags of cement will give you around 420 bricks tsa 4.5 inch if we assume a single bag of cement gives you 30 bricks
👉Labour is around P40 per bag so for 14 bags is P560

👉Your total cost ta bo e nna P1400 + P980 + P560 + P120 = P3 060

👉Now you see that buying is cheaper✅
👉Note that with transport charges varies with proximity to the site/brickyard, so they are unstable. For some suppliers if you within the 10km radius delivery is free so better opt to buy from a brickyard closer to you.

1. They don't pay their workers per cement bags but they pay them monthly as per labour regulations✅. Kore they employ workers that they pay monthly thats why most yards are now switching to Brick Moulding machines
2. They have their own trucks to load sand✅
3. They can buy cement in bulk at discounted prices✅
👉The other cheaper alternative is when you don't hire but mould the bricks and load sand yourself without hiring
