Glad to work with a great team to complete this decommissioning project!

Our team recently made great use of the GMK6400-1’s versatility by configuring the machine with both the MegaWing and HD-jib attachments to successfully decommission a wind turbine on Nova Scotia’s beautiful Atlantic Coast line.

As we wrap up a fantastic week completing another full install and our first MCC handover, one thing is clear, behind every towering turbine is a team that makes it happen.

Wind turbine construction isn’t just about lifting blades and assembling towers. It’s about precision, safety, and trust at every step.

From the first bolt to the final connection, our crews bring unmatched skill, dedication, and the kind of teamwork you can only build under pressure.

Progress is picking up on site this week as blade deliveries continue and tower installation is well underway. The LR1700 from Irving Equipment Ltd. is now in action, handling lifts with precision. It’s an incredible moment to see these structures take shape and stand tall. Momentum is growing thanks to the team’s focus on safety, coordination, and collaboration.

Another exciting step forward on site; the first tower sections are going up and pre-assembly of key components is underway. It’s a rewarding sight to see all the planning come to life as steel meets sky. Big credit to the crews working safely and efficiently to keep momentum strong as we move closer to generating clean, renewable energy for the community.
