WE ARE HIRING a Heavy Equipment Operator.

Are you a skilled excavator operator who takes pride in delivering quality work and operating safely? If you're self-motivated, dependable, and committed to excellence, we want to hear from you.

Must have experience running heavy equipment.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

· Running heavy equipment on various sites

· Completing paperwork accurately through our online Safety Program

· Equipment maintenance

Key Responsibilities:

· Safely operate excavators for excavation, trenching, ditching, loading, and backfilling activities.

· Excavate and move materials according to project requirements and specifications.

· Load trucks and support site preparation and earthworks operations.

· Work safely around underground utilities and existing infrastructure.

· Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.

· Follow all company, client, and site-specific safety procedures.

· Communicate effectively with ground personnel and other operators.

· Maintain equipment cleanliness and complete required operational documentation.

· Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

· Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience on an excavator

· Positive attitude and willing to take direction from supervision.

· Self-motivated, flexible and proactive with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· On-site experience is required.

· Pipeline Construction Experience preferred.

· Strong safety culture.

· H2S Alive

· CSO & CSTS 2020

· Ground disturbance Level 2

· WHMIS

JOURNEYMAN PIPEFITTER JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for experienced Pipefitters to join our team for full-time oilfield construction and maintenance work throughout Alberta.
Applicants must have a home base within 45 minutes of our Blackfalds shop.

What we offer:

• Full-time, permanent & seasonal opportunities
• LOA provided for away-from-home projects
• Daily travel provided for road work
• Work throughout Central Alberta, Edmonton, Northern Alberta & shop-based projects in Blackfalds

Requirements:

Minimum 4 years of experience in oilfield facilities and pipeline construction.
Experience with bolt-up, hydrotesting, engineered drawings, measurements & working alongside welders.
Experience in working with knuckle boom picker, field experience with regards to batteries, well pads and pipeline facility and on-going module shop fabrication.
Strong leadership skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Willingness to travel (50%)

Applicants MUST be located within 30 minutes of Blackfalds.

• Transportation to and from job sites
• Opportunities for both shop and field work

Work areas include:

Blackfalds, Central Alberta, Grande Prairie, Edmonton & Edson.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in oilfield facilities and pipeline construction.
Experience with bolt-up, hydrotesting, measuring assistance, engineered drawings, working with welders, field installs & general pipeline labor duties.
Experience with a knuckle boom picker would be considered an asset.
Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team environment

WE ARE HIRING A B-PRESSURE WELDER

Location: Blackfalds, Alberta and various project sites throughout Alberta Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are currently seeking experienced B-Pressure Rig Welders to join our oilfield construction team for shop fabrication work in Blackfalds and field projects across Alberta. We are looking for reliable, safety-focused individuals with strong mechanical aptitude who work well in a team environment and are motivated to deliver high-quality results.

Please note: Applications will only be considered from candidates who are local within 1hr to the Blackfalds area. No Living Out Allowance (LOA) is provided for yard fabrication work. Field install projects may receive LOA TBD throughout Alberta.

Requirements

Welding Rig & Equipment

Candidates must provide a fully equipped welding rig suitable for pipe fabrication and/or mainline pipeline work, including:

· Welding machine capable of producing a minimum of 325 amps

· Ability to weld with 1/4" 7018 electrodes

· Fabrication table

· Pipe stands

· Counterweights

· Equipment capable of handling pipe sizes ranging from 2" to 12" diameter

Experience & Qualifications

· Minimum of 3 years of relevant B-pressure welding experience on 2-12 inch piping spools

· Ability to produce 80-100 diameter inches of weld per day

· Experience working with ISO metric drawings

· Knowledge of various grades of carbon steel

· Ability to identify, track, and record heat numbers from materials to drawings

· Pipe fabrication

· Mainline pipeline welding

· CWB structural welding

Experience in working with knuckle boom picker, field experience with regards to batteries, well pads and pipeline facility and ongoing module shop fabrication.
Safety Certifications

Preferred candidates will hold current certifications including:

· CSTS and CSO

· H2S Alive

· Standard First Aid

· WHMIS

Additional project-specific certifications may be required depending on the assignment.

Work Schedule

· Immediate start available

· Work schedules may extend up to 7 days per week depending on project requirements for shop fabrication

· Field work TBD per job basis

Contractor Requirements & Application Submission

Please include the following in your application:

· Description of your welding rig and equipment, including:

o Truck year and mileage

o Welding machine model and hours

o Fabrication table availability

o Number of pipe stands

o Maximum pipe sizes your setup can accommodate

o Proof of a registered company in good standing

o Proof of a minimum $2,000,000 Commercial General Liability Insurance

o Valid GST Number

o Current WCB (Workers' Compensation Board) account in good standing

· Photos of your welding rig (if available)

· Copies of all welding and safety certifications

· Three professional references

Compensation

Compensation will be discussed with selected candidates during the interview process. Certain consumables will be supplied by Vise Energy Services.
