AVRA Robot is based in Vancouver Canada and provide deployment and technical support for Service robot and food running robot.
The Front Porch Center for Innovation and Wellbeing (FPCIW) partnered with Bear Robotics, a robotic solutions company, to pilot the ‘Servi’ robot at 2 Front Porch communities in 2022 (read more about the pilot and the final report written by FPCIW by visiting https://lnkd.in/gkNFbp4F). ‘Servi’ is a 100% self-driving dining services robot that houses attachments such as drink trays, bus tubs, and more to simplify hospitality through technology. This project involves the deployment of ‘Servi’ robot at Front Porch communities that includes pilot design and framework, implementation support, data collection and impact analysis, resident/staff engagement, and ongoing sustainability of the innovation.
“The robots are intended not to replace, but to work alongside humans to help address staffing challenges first experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic and simultaneously to elevate the customer experience,” says Kari Olson, president of FPCIW. “We’re pleased that efforts to continue the use of the dining robots beyond the pilot have been supported by the communities, and we look forward to bringing this technology to other Front Porch communities.”
