We did some rundle flag stone as a base and river rock as a backsplash for a wood stove that will be installed in this corner. Used to heat this cabin, still have a bit to finish once the window is installed this week.

First post in a really long time maybe I’ll be back full time ? Anyway we Redid some stone for a client she was not a fan of the old stone and was redoing her whole exterior and then some she picked a white stacked stone from cultured stone and as good as that blue skin looks I think the stone dressed up the front of the house pretty good we wer originally going to put stone on the right corner but decided against it

Just completed this marble installation

The Marble came from Amico stone supply
We used snow flake mortar with white thinset for some extra grab 💪🏼

We finished this project back in October for Jenga homes. this was an interesting structure for an exterior finish and first of its kind for Calgary. Which made it fun but also posed more issues than a normal wood structure as most inspectors and engineers have never seen this kind of build before.
The structure is 90% precast concrete with some framing bump outs and the roof is all wood framing
I did not do the stucco or the painting
I did do all soffits, fascia, trims including around windows, mac architectural metal siding and the stone work.
There wer definetly somethings that wer not thought out so we had to think on our feet to try and make everything come together and look proper but I think the final Product turned out quite well.
