When rust and scale need to go, cling matters. 💧

SFTYKleen RSR is a skin safe, single component acidic gel concentrate containing specific inhibitors that protect mild steel while accelerating the acid action in dissolving corrosion and scale accumulation.

SFTYKleen RSR is also phosphate and APE-free.

SFTYKleen RSR will remove the following:
• Rust
• Mill Scale
• Heat Scale

The viscosity of SFTYKleen RSR allows it to “cling” to the substrate, providing sufficient contact time and wetting to achieve the required preparation.

What is viscosity and why does it matter? 💧
Simply put, viscosity is a measure of a liquid’s resistance to flow, or how thick or thin it is.

For some industrial products, a lower viscosity allows the chemistry to flow easily across or through a surface. For others, particularly gels and products designed for vertical applications, a higher viscosity helps the product cling to the surface long enough to do its job.

The key isn’t simply thicker or thinner. It’s finding the right viscosity for the application.

A customer recently came to Darric looking for a particular chemical product that had been discontinued in the U.S.

Did we carry it? No.
