As we near the end of the current academic year, ZOO is looking for the next set of executive officers for the 2026-2027 academic year from the Electrical and Software Engineering Student population.
The following is the complete list of the executive roles available. To learn more about each role please check the nomination form or the ZOO constitution (both linked in bio):

- President(s)
- VP Academic(s)
- VP Event(s)
- VP External(s)
- VP Finance(s)
- VP Internal(s)

Please note that for each position a maximum of 2 people can run together.

To apply, fill out the nomination form, with a minimum of 5 unique signatures from current Electrical and Software Engineering Students and email the completed form to [email protected] with the subject Exec Application: [Desired Role], by 11pm on March 29th, 2026.

After the deadline, the chief returning officer will contact all nominees for the next steps and rules in the election process.

ZOO and Tech Start are officially teaming up with Cursor to bring you ZOOTech - a high-energy weekend of coding, collaboration, and rapid prototyping!

Whether you’re a seasoned dev or just starting your journey, this is the perfect chance to push your limits, work with new tools, and bring your ideas to life.

Hackathon Details:
📅 Date: Saturday, March 14th – Sunday, March 15th
🏢 Location: University of Calgary

What’s in store for you:
⭐️ Team up in groups of 3–4 to build an original project in just 24 hours
⭐️ Compete for prizes, including Cursor credits and more from our partner companies
