💻 As we celebrate 30 years of operations in Australia, we're continuing our tradition of supporting the communities we live and work in.

Recently, our team donated laptops and accessories to Sam's Spares, a charity improving access to technology in Western Australia. Their team creates meaningful employment for neurodivergent Australians, transforming the refurbishment and reuse of donated electronics into long-term opportunities.

Thank you to Sam's Spares for helping us thoughtfully extend the life of our technology and reduce e-waste!

Earlier this month, our Bow Valley Hydro team safely observed an adult grizzly at French Creek in Kananaskis, Alberta. While moments like this can be memorable, they also highlight the importance of preparation and vigilance at remote or rural sites.

Our employees take regular wildlife safety training as part of our broader commitment to safety, including this years' training with Bear Safety & More Inc. Equipping teams with the knowledge and procedures needed to respond appropriately to wildlife encounters helps protect the people and animals that share our work environments.

Kananaskis Improvement District and Kananaskis Country have issued a State of Local Emergency due to ongoing rainfall and localized flooding affecting road access and several recreation areas.

Some road access remains limited in parts of Kananaskis Country. We are actively working to establish road access for those currently unable to leave the area. Visitors in the area are asked to remain where they are if it is safe to do so. William Watson Lodge and Peter Lougheed Discovery Centre are available as a temporary shelter for those who require a safe, dry place to stay.

Visitors are encouraged to postpone non-essential travel until conditions improve. Impacted reservations will be automatically cancelled and refunded.

Emergency teams continue to coordinate response efforts and are monitoring infrastructure, supporting campground operations, and maintaining road closures where needed.
