A special shout out to Matt and his crew on Rig 15. At the start of the year Matt’s rig was selected to start 24 hour service for our customer in SW Manitoba.

24 hour work is something that is new to the area and it comes with its own set of challenges. One of them obviously is hosting another crew on YOUR rig and equipment that you’re used to running yourself and your own way.

Matt and his crew have welcomed the other guys in and showed that collaboration and teamwork is possible. This doesn’t work without both.

Our best asset is our people and this is a prime example of it. These guys are executing what is asked of them and going above and beyond which we always want to recognize.

Thank you men, warmer weather is on the way.

Also thank you to our customer for the opportunity.

No winter is complete in the prairies without a full set of mother natures walkways!

Some wild weather over the last week.

The crews have all battled and worked hard through it and are now starting to wrap up and get home for some well deserved downtime with their families!

Today we are celebrating a man that has been crucial to any successes we’ve had at Eagle Sky. Please wish our controller Jason a happy birthday, we weren’t going to tell you how old, but the candles don’t lie.

We are so lucky to have him looking after us, he’s one of the most hard working and dedicated guys we have and this is just one of many hats he wears. The direction he provides for us is second to none and he’s also a voice of reason we don’t only trust, but rely on.

When there’s a break in the action right at lunch, it calls for a mandatory safety meeting with the boys!

Thanks to Steve, Jett and the boys from Rig 11 for all the hard work this year. The best way to say thank you is smoked meat in our opinion.
