HVE was founded in 2009 by George Chartier. George has over 40 years experience in the power line industry and has worked in every aspect of the construction of power line. Alongside that our employee base has over 600 years of combined experience in all aspects of the trade. The company in its infancy primarily worked as Transmission Consultants for Altalink, ATCO and SNC Lavalin. By early 2010 t
he market was asking for more employees and employees of different specialties. At that time HVE expanded to Substation Consulting and Project Management. Since that time we have grown to an employee base of just under 30 employees from a wide variety of expertise including but not limited to Project Management, Scheduling, Material Management, Civil Consultants, PSE Consultants, Transmission Consultants, Tower Inspection both aerial and on ground, and Distribution experts both overhead and underground. HVE has an excellent safety record with these customers and is willing to learn and help in any way possible to improve safety. The main area of focus is to reduce the level of risk exposed to our customers in the diluted work force that faces our industry today, while at the same time providing accurate, efficient, cost appropriate performance from other contractors and doing so in the safest environment possible.
