Out with the Old, In with the New: Fleet Upgrade Announcement 🚧💪

R&D Crane is excited to announce the addition of a new 350-ton Grove GMK6350 to our fleet, replacing our trusted Unit 4, GMK5240. This state-of-the-art crane features an impressive 262 feet of boom, the longest in Atlantic Canada, ensuring we can tackle even the most demanding projects with enhanced efficiency and safety.

This investment underscores our commitment to growth and providing top-tier crane services across the region.

Wrapped up a big one last week. We used our GMK6400 with 200’ of luffing jib to take down one of the highest tower cranes in the city.

Huge lift, tight setup, and a killer team to make it all happen. Always a good day when the plan comes together. Thank you to everybody involved in this 🙌🏼

It’s officially the holiday season!

R&D Crane, with the support of The Cherubini Group, is proud to have dropped off a whole crane load of toys at the Q104 FM Toy Drive with the Halifax Professional Firefighters in support of Parker Street Food & Furniture Bank.

They’re accepting new, unwrapped toys at the Highfield Park Fire Station today until 7pm.

Ever seen a giant pumpkin fall from the sky? Well. Tomorrow’s your chance! Our team will be on site from 6:30 a.m. with Halloween treat bags for your kiddos. See you there?

Gourdy, the pumpkin is READY for his Debut!

Coming in at 1,425lbs this pumpkin will drop tomorrow morning at Mic Mac Mall from a giant crane before smashing and revealing the winner of our prize: $10,000 in GOLD!
If you want to witness some smashing pumpkins 😉 🎃 then come down for 7:30am tomorrow, Oct 31st at Mic Mac Mall Parking lot!
