Made in small batches of plant based dyes, Wildcrafted Wool produces eco yarns to yearn for from BC Gulf island rare breed sheep, organic alpaca, vegan h**p and certified organic cotton. Since we began in 2009, our dyes are 100% natural, many of them wildcrafted and cultivated in southern coastal British Columbia, Coast Salish Territories, Canada. Each skein is lovingly hand dyed and one-of-a-kind
without the use of harsh chemicals and heavy metals. We also produce collections of fine knitwear, needle felts and puppets. Fibre art as nature intended! Why buy naturally dyed yarns? Yarn like most fabric is dyed with harsh synthetic dyes made from environmentally hazardous and carcinogenic chemicals such as heavy metals. Our naturally dyed yarns are:
