How can a home equity line of credit (HELOC) benefit you?

A HELOC is a revolving line of credit which means you can borrow as much or as little as you need. You can repay the balance on your terms with no penalties. Interest rates on HELOCs are variable and fluctuate with the changes in the prime rate and tend to be around prime +5%. The minimum payment requirement is an interest-only payment based only on what you borrowed.

Self-Employed - Last 2 years of T1 Generals and Notices of Assessment
Retired - T4A s and Notices of Assessment

Property details: Recent mortgage statement, property tax bill, rental lease agreement if property is rented out.

Legal: Separation agreement if seperated.

Assets: lists of RRSPs, Stocks, investments, vehicles

Liabilities: Credit card debt, loans, car payments
