FMP, happy to see these jackets going strong. Torro built these jackets for a pre-heat steam pipeline they were working. Client needed something quick and reuseable. They were suppose to be for 1 project. 3 YEARS later these same jackets are going strong and looking to last another 3 years. Here’s a look at a 36” pipe fitted with FMP Group’s custom pre-heat jigs—designed to bring the pipe to the required welding temperature and maintain it throughout the entire weld process.
Unlike traditional methods involving heating pads, insulation, and fire blankets, our jigs are engineered for efficiency and mobility. Once a weld is complete, they simply unclip and slide to the next joint—minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity on projects with multiple welds.
