Bike wash is running. It’s a pleasure to be part of this project.

Are you one of many who live in an apartment building without access to a hose to clean your bike after a mucky ride on our awesome trails?

Thanks to a grant from Community Foundation of the Kootenay Rockies, a donation from Sparwood Remedy’s RX and donated labour by Elevation Mechanical LTD to install - Sparwood now has a bike wash station located at the Sparwood Chamber building! We are so grateful for these associations in supporting our vision to fill a gap that we recognized in the community.

Responding to a “no heat” call is not always due to a furnace not starting. This furnace had some burnt wiring that needed replacing. Luckily the flame roll out switch worked and shut down the unit before extensive damage.

Avoid costly after hours service calls.
This is a commercial domestic hot water heat exchanger that has not had preventative maintenance. All of the heat transfer passes were plugged with hard water scale.
Preventative maintenance is key.
