Good morning. I hope you’re enjoying and making the best of the local weather. Just wanted to remind you to check vents of furnace that exit the building. With this amount of snow at once, we typically see a lot of calls for blocked vents which can prevent your furnace from running. The safety will shut off the furnace if the vents become blocked preventing carbon monoxide potentials. It’s a good idea also to check HRV vents, dryer vents and any basement bath fans for clearance from snow accumulation. Also if you have elderly or vacationing neighbours take a walk around to check their vents too

I was fortunate to get invited to Toronto for Uponor Canada hydronic in-floor heating training for a couple days by our main supplier Noble. Was nice to see the new technology and advancements in the hydronic industry to help people enjoy the benefits and saving of heated floors. Here I thought I was done school a long time ago!!

Haven’t been on the social media game in a while. We recently celebrated our 16th year in business, all thanks to great customers, and awesome employees past, present and future. Few pics of a custom in-floor job we started today for one of those great customers. Oh and the boss bought the guys lunch today. Broke out the tongs for this one!

Today marks 15 years to the day Chenier Mechanical was a registered business. They say the first 5 years are the most difficult, I feel that never ends some days good some days bad.
As I take a moment to reflect, I’m very proud of the work we do, the support we offer and very thankful for the support from the customers, without them we would have nothing.
Special thanks to Brennan Chaddock, Shea Wilkinson, Brandon Chenier, Nolan McMillan Dean McManus and Jeannine Lafave (Arnold Lafave).
Most importantly my awesome wife who lets me work crazy hours sometimes while she runs the home. It takes two, and I could t do this without her support. And my dad Marcel Chenier, not sure why but thanks for letting me vent at times means a lot.
