Today we were able to once again provide support to the Sheep River Health Trust.

On June 18th 2026 from 11am to 2pm, the Sheep River Health Trust will be holding their annual Radiothon located at the Diamond Valley Rona Black Diamond

Our Community Volunteer Board member responsible for Community Giving (Loretta) is profiled in this photo with Christine from the Sheep River Health Trust.

It is our customers who purchase their electricity and natural gas from us that allows for this type of Diamond Valley community giving.

Since our inception we have now contributed over $400,000 in community giving.

We'd love you to join us as a customer so that we can continue to grow our contributions back to the Foothills.

Today we are excited to once again make a significant contribution to our local Sheep River Library.

The STEAM program that they offer to the Diamond Valley community is in line with our giving matrix.

We continue to work hard at letting the Diamond Valley community know who we are and what we do.

Every new electricity and natural gas customer we get allows us to continue to donate more and more money back to Diamond Valley.

In this photo we have our Volunteer Community Board member - Director of Advertising and Promotions for the Foothills Energy Co-op - Denver Dominas, along with Teegan Bender of The Sheep River Library.

The Foothills Energy Co-op is managed by an energetic community volunteer Board and 100% of its net profits are donated back to The Diamond Valley community.

We are the only one of its kind in Alberta. Exclusive to Diamond Valley with amazing customers from all across Alberta who support us.

We are proud to continue to support as many of the local community events that we can.

"Did You Know" that we are the only volunteer community managed energy marketer in the province of Alberta who gives 100% of its net profits back to the Diamond Valley community.

In 2025 we donated over $200,000 back to various community groups and sustainability capital projects in The Foothills.

The more Diamond Valley customers we have who purchase their electricity and natural gas from the Foothills Energy Co-op the more money we can donate back to the community to support terrific events like the Show & Shine.

Our goal for 2026 is to support as many local community events that we can and hope that you will support the Foothills Energy Co-op in return.
