We are hiring a Civil Foreman, based out of our Fredericton, NB office!

Reporting to an assigned Superintendent, as a Civil Foreman you would be responsible for an on-site crew of 3-6 persons on a variety of civil construction projects within the Capitol Region.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Safety of persons on assigned task or work
site. Ensuring all assigned tasks are completed safely and
environmentally sound.
• Overseeing and coordinating at times – Heavy Equipment
Operators, Pipe Layers and Labourers as assigned.
• Organizing and scheduling construction activities on site in
coordination with Superintendent
• This position requires the operation of heavy equipment,
and/or labour tasks on site as required.

Required Qualifications:

- Canadian Citizenship
- At least FIVE years of experience in civil construction as a
Foreman, Lead Operator, or Lead Pipe Layer
- Ability to accurately read construction plans.
- Understanding of grades and elevations.
- Experience in construction survey and layout.
- Proficiency with Topcon GPS equipment and Machine Control
considered an asset.

• Minimum of three years construction experience with the handling and placement of water, sanitary, and storm piping and associated valves and structures.
• Ability to travel to jobsites throughout the Capitol Region.
