This distinction recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding achievement and made significant contributions to their community, making it a truly meaningful honour.

Good food, good people and a chance to celebrate 50 years.

Last week, we celebrated 50 years of TESC with our headquarters team.

A milestone like this isn't built in a day. It's built through decades of hard work, strong relationships and the people who continue to show up every day.

Thanks to everyone who's been part of our story. We are READY for the next 50!

We’re excited to support initiatives that help introduce more young women to careers in the skilled trades, engineering and technology.

Events like Jill of All Trades create opportunities for students to explore industries they may not have otherwise considered and connect directly with the people working in them every day.

Thank you to Cambrian College for continuing to create space for these conversations and experiences.

As we mark 50 years at TESC, we’re taking a moment to recognize the people who make the work possible. This season our executive team is out on site visiting crews across our projects spending time with the people in the field and the clients and partners we work alongside.

These visits are a chance to connect, have real conversations and acknowledge the role each person plays in what we deliver. Everything we’ve built over the last 50 years comes back to the people behind it.

Thank you to everyone across TESC for the work you do every day.

Our CEO enjoyed being a judge at the Cambrian Student Innovation Challenge this year.

The level of preparation, effort, and ambition from the students was impressive. A lot of strong ideas in the room, and more importantly, people willing to step up and put them forward.

Always encouraging to see what’s coming next.

Our Director of Operations and VP attended Cambrian College’s MySafeWork session, where our Director spoke to nearly 200 students about safety, real-world readiness and what it takes to work in our industry.

Beyond the presentation, both spent time answering questions and having meaningful conversations with students and soon-to-be graduates entering the workforce. Those conversations are where the message really lands.

Safety starts long before someone steps onto a job site.

Great to see our CEO on the panel at the Women in Construction Breakfast.

Our strength has always come from the people behind the work, and that means creating space for women to lead, build, and grow across every part of our business, from the field to leadership.

Seeing our CEO take part in conversations like this is a reflection of what we believe as a company and how we continue to move forward.

We’re proud to be part of an industry that’s evolving and even more proud to be building a team that reflects it.

As part of the Clarabelle Mill upgrade in Sudbury, our team built and installed nine sections of structural conveyor gallery, a key component of Vale’s crushing and grinding modernization project.

The work brought together a large multi-trade workforce including ironworkers, millwrights, boilermakers, pipefitters, electricians, labourers, carpenters, crane operators and scaffolders working 7 days a week.

Like many industrial projects in Northern Ontario, the installation was carried out through Sudbury’s winter conditions, with temperatures reaching −38 °C.

The project was delivered in collaboration with our partners at C&A Steel and the heavy lifting team at Mammoet.

International Women’s Day is a moment to reflect on progress — but also on opportunity.

Across Canada, the industrial and critical infrastructure sectors are facing a significant skilled labour challenge. One of the biggest opportunities to address that challenge is ensuring more women see these industries as places where they belong and can thrive.

At TESC, we’re proud to be a women‑led industrial construction company in mining and power generation, a sector that supports the backbone of our communities; from complex facilities to essential systems people rely on every day.

Encouraging more women into industrial work, skilled trades, engineering and leadership isn’t just about representation. It’s about strengthening the future of the industry itself.

This Sunday and every day we celebrate the many women who are part of TESC Contracting.
