Very lacklustre photo ( I’m terrible at remembering to document through pictures ) , but we were able to keep 10 dog crates out of the landfills aPawsitively Furever Pawsitively Furever
for their crate request. (If you’re looking to adopt or foster, please check them out!)

We also kept 8 garbage bags of clean children’s clothing separated during clean-ups and passed along to the amazing volunteers at New Life Church Clothing Closet.

On a personal note, we also managed to outfit my daughter with a bunch of gardening tools for her summer gardening jobs.

Paired with the three pups we transported to rescue this month, I’d call that a pretty successful month. 🙂

Thank you to everyone who booked with us, trusted us with their clean-ups, and helped ensure serviceable items found new homes instead of ending up in the landfill.

My crew’s growing… meet Jasmine (on the left) 🐾

She was abandoned beside a garbage compactor in West Virginia ….honestly, kind of fitting for a junk removal company!

I first met her while I was down there transporting another two pups I found earlier in an abandoned coal mine by fluke (they’ve been adopted now ❤️). Jasmine was on the euthanasia list, and I couldn’t leave her behind…so I made the trip back for her.

Now she’s here, safe, and officially part of the team 🙌

Between her and Toby, I’ve got the best coworkers around.

And because May is our busiest month, I’m putting that to good use—10% of all jobs will go directly toward helping save and transport three more dogs to safety 🐾

The Guelph Humane Society is looking for some item, I’m happy to collect them during your scheduled junk removal and make sure they get donated instead of thrown out.

They are currently accepting new or gently used and washed items such as:
• Blankets
• Towels
• Crates and carriers
• Dog and cat toys
• Leashes, collars, and harnesses
• Slow feeders
• Unopened pet food and treats
• Litter
• P**p bags

Even one blanket or toy can make a big difference for a shelter animal.

If you already have a pickup booked with me, or are planning one, just let me know what you’d like to donate and I’ll take care of the rest.

Huge amount of winter clothing and coats dropped off at the New Life Church Community Clothing Closet today! ❄️🧥

We’ve been setting items aside for a few months as I come across them during customer pick-ups, and it’s great knowing these pieces will be reused and appreciated within the community.

Over the past few weeks, Ive done a few runs where people were moving out or landlords were clearing apartments, and ended up saving a ton of perfectly good food that might’ve gone to waste.

I’ll be filling the little food pantries in Guelph food pantries over the next few weeks with this haul!

Late this summer, I got a new partner on the job — meet Toby! He’s a 4 year old Texas rescue who’s gone from ruff streets to riding shotgun.

Every morning, he eagerly jumps into the truck, ready to supervise each job I take on. 😄

As of April 2nd, the City of Guelph will be charging $25 per mattress.

We unfortunately will also have to charge this same rate for mattresses added to loads 😞

If you have been thinking about doing a load that involves a mattress, let’s get it done before April 2nd to avoid the fee 🙂
