Engineering Society at UBC

Engineering Society at UBC We support the social, academic, and professional needs of engineering students at UBC Okanagan.

The purpose of the Engineering Society is to provide social, professional, and academic services as well as representation to all UBC Okanagan engineering students. The Engineering Society is made up of a council of representatives from all student years and departments. The Engineering Society provides services and events aimed towards engineering students. These include social events such as E-W

eek, games nights, and BBQ’s or services such as the Energy-to-Go station during finals. The Engineering Society also holds charity events such as Hair for Care, Movember, Pi Day, Canstruction, Christmas Caroling, and Trebuchet. Since its introduction to UBC Okanagan in 2007, the Engineering Society has raised over $13,500 for charity. The Engineering Society strives to keep students up to date with external engineering organizations including APEGBC, WESST, and CFES.
