We’ve seen lots of vinyl decks fail because this detail wasn’t done properly.

The proper way to wrap your vinyl up the house is to run the vinyl up the wall, then tuck the new building paper underneath the existing paper and lap it over top of the vinyl.

That way, any water coming down the wall is directed out and over the vinyl instead of getting behind it.

Small detail, big difference.
