We insulated this bonus room floor by installing tyvek under the floor once the plumbing & heating were roughed in. The ceiling was then framed down, & spray foam was installed. There's no area more important to get right than this! Ask anyone who's ever lived in a cold bonus room. The spray foam at the higher level is the underside of the roof.

These photos show how we left the backside of the ceilings and high walls adjacent to the attic until after we drywalled. We then completed the spray foam insulation & added loose fill fiberglass.

Other than Ron putting the finishing touches on in the last bay, this commercial project on Altawana Drive is a wrap. Spray foam, thermal barrier, drywall finished and primed ready for tenants.

Now were off to McDonald's on Dunmore Road for a massive renovation. Stay tuned for more pics from here!
